From the Austin Planetarium:
The Texas Science & Engineering Festival is one of our biggest events of the year and we plan on making this one extra special. This coming Saturday and Sunday (November 5th and 6th) we will be joining dozens of other science and education organizations at this free festival to bring the fun and beauty of science to young and old alike.
The Texas Science & Engineering Festival is one of our biggest events of the year and we plan on making this one extra special. This coming Saturday and Sunday (November 5th and 6th) we will be joining dozens of other science and education organizations at this free festival to bring the fun and beauty of science to young and old alike.
This year, in addition to the Mobile Planetarium, we will be setting up a variety of mini science exhibits to provide festival-goers an experience in line with our goal of constructing Austin's first science museum, planetarium and technology center. See the Magic Planet, the Space Telescope Science Institute's Visions of the Universe display and many more mini-exhibits. Then enter the Discovery Dome Mobile Planetarium for a glimpse of the stars. Come help support our mission and help promote science, technology, engineering and math in Texas. Hope to see you there!
